Mediators

The Kunsthalle Bratislava implements a new model of communication with visitors through external collaborators - trained mediators. Contemporary art is sometimes perceived by the public as a barrier. Therefore, we decided not only for its mediation through catalogs, specialized texts, lectures and educational programs, but also by a team of young people with a professional interest in the field of contemporary art. These art mediators are people of the first contact, guides permanently present at exhibitions, who communicate with visitors about the exhibited works of art and topics of the exhibitions. They are art students and graduates of art, art history and related humanities.
